Kinesiology encompasses holistic health disciplines which use the gentle art of muscle monitoring to access information about a person’s well being. Originating in the 1970’s, it combines Western techniques and Eastern wisdom to promote physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
This program qualifies you to work in a richly rewarding career in this rapidly growing area of medicine. This course is particularly relevant for people that want to work in health fields where an integrated mind body medicine approach is useful – such as working with people with long term chronic conditions, structural and pain related conditions, life change and psychological states, and children and adults to improve learning.
The course is delivered through a combination of facilitated class based delivery and practical tutorial sessions. Students are required to attend 2 to 3 days per week for a total of 9 days per month.
Students should allow for a minimum of 12-15 hours per week of self directed learning.
