Tessa works with The City of Mandurah as Project Manager for “The Big Draw”, a community involved project that began in the UK as “the worlds’ biggest celebration of drawing, with events held across the UK and in twenty other countries”.
Tessa also works casually as an Art Therapist working at places like CECAT in Graylands (Mental Health), Tessa has worked with children from D.V. backgrounds and also worked privately as an Art Therapist.
Previously Tessa worked as studio coordinator for CATA, applying creative programs and activities for people living with disability. During her time as artist in residence with The Dunmoochin Foundation, Tessa established herself as an artist and held solo and group exhibition and was also involved in community art projects.
As a member of a theatre Group called “Women with Moustaches” Tessa co-wrote and performed for “La Ma Ma’s” – and other venues, and with funding from the Ministry of the Arts performed for schools and delivered workshops. Tessa also taught drama in after school programs in Victoria.
