Develop a strong sense of your own values and attitudes systems and discover how this may assist you to authentically engage with young people in a way that empowers them. Much time is spent considering the importance of understanding ourselves and our emotional triggers, and how knowing this can help us maintain personal and professional boundaries and develop a strong commitment to self-care and reflective practice.
You can expect to learn the necessary personal reflective skills and develop a solid sense of self. You will be exposed to strengths based and empowerment models of working with young people and adopt client centred practice. You will come to understand the importance of recognising young people as experts in their own lives.
Your learning commitment: 3 in class days and 3 online sessions.
Tuition Fees: $1350 | Vet Student Loans approved
You will receive a certificate of attainment for the following units of competency;
- CHCCOM003 – Develop workplace communication strategies
- CHCPRP001 – Develop and maintain networks and collaborative partnerships
- CHCYTH001 – Engage respectfully with young people
Each program is approved for Vet Student Loans, allowing you to Learn Now and Pay Later.*
Alternatively, tuition fees can be paid via a payment plan.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a statement of attainment and full credit for the completed units of competency, should they wish to continue to continue with the full qualification.
