Learn to develop skills to support those in our community suffering poor mental health. You will deepen your understanding of mental health and mental illness and learn to recognise the risk factors known to contribute to the emergence of poor mental health. In addition to this you will build the skills to adequately assess needs, risks and factors for consideration when working in mental health.
You will be orientated with the principles of good practice when working in mental health and how to effectively implement best practice programming and evaluate outcomes and effectiveness.
Your learning commitment: 4 in class days and 4 online sessions.
Tuition Fees: $1800 | Vet Student Loans approved
You will receive a certificate of attainment for the following units of competency;
- CHCMHS004 – Work collaboratively with the care network and other services
- CHCMHS009 – Provide early intervention, health prevention and promotion programs
- CHCMHS011 – Assess and promote social, emotional and physical wellbeing
- CHCMHS012 – Provide support to develop wellness plans and advanced directives
Each program is approved for Vet Student Loans, allowing you to Learn Now and Pay Later.*
Alternatively, tuition fees can be paid via a payment plan.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a statement of attainment and full credit for the completed units of competency, should they wish to continue to continue with the full qualification.
